We all choose to act, to turn the tide. We all want to find and implement new natural and sustainable systems. Most important of all – bring on the kids!
What do we do when top experts from all over the world keep telling us that the world is at a tipping point? And that humanity needs to act now to save our futures, all of our dreams, our connections to Nature?
We take this message to heart. We are teaching our pioneering group of children, aged 9 to 15, in one of the greatest classrooms on Earth – South Africa’s natural environment.
Taking Action in Times of Change
The world is enduring environmental crises including climate change, the Coronavirus, natural resources depletion, the extinction of diverse species, war, refugee issues and more. We all need to take action in some way.
Earth Kids aim to share our lessons on film, worldwide. We blog away about issues close to our hearts. And all the time, we are allowing Nature to lead us to the wonders of science, mathematics, language, arts, drama and music. In a quest to promote global awareness about our Earth’s fragile existence.
Anyone, from anywhere, can download our informative videos. Anyone can read our blogs. We welcome all kids to share in the wonders of an education in nature, that can take place in any environment.
Each kid can apply each video their own local context. Then send us some material back! Show us what issues are playing out in your areas. Blog about your work and link to our blogs.
